Diverts/summer 17
The 788 replacement aircraft for the damaged aircraft in Phuket later positioned to BHX from ARN to operate the BGI service today where it departed 1:40 late and then ended up in Manchester. It is airborne again from Manchester and have actually been told it might have been planned.
However a 738 this afternoon on BHX Sofia departed on Schedule got as far as the Stuttgart area and turned around and headed home back to Brum.
Summer 17
Any news when the schedule will be finalised as it is getting a bit close. Some changes this week with scheduled Vueling and Norwegian flights being used from BHX but the 8th based aircraft is still showing "TBA".
Also rumours that the three 738's will be all Thomson this year (no Sunwing)but back to the TBA contract - it is only scheduled on 4 days which makes it easy to merge into other flights (AGP & PMI are the destinations) and I assume they are they still waiting to see how bookings are going? It was rumoured as Germania.
