How strange that such an intrepid aviator has not been seen flying the Spirit of Artemis around the UK over the last six months.
Perhaps, as I am several thousand miles away from UK airspace, I have missed the Stearman dropping in to dozens of UK airfields over the autumn and winter.
Surely it is a great vehicle for her outreach projects?
Will any forthcoming film show (if it ever appears) the "collaborative team effort" and the important role played by Ewald Gritsch?
I have stated publicly previously (11 June 2016) that I am deeply disappointed at the comments coming from a particular source making false assertions that my flight expeditions should have been executed as solo flights – and that I have claimed them as such. I have previously stated they were not “solo flights”. They are all about a collaborative team effort and celebrating the brilliant achievements of women like Amy Johnson and Lady Heath who made history when aviation was in its infancy.
Perhaps the "collaborative team" are too busy to go flying?
