I remember watching a very impressive Air Maroc 757 depart Man in, I think, the 80's.
I was on the footpath along side Airport Hotel pub. Thrust was increased with the parking brake on, when released, the 75 lurched forwards and within seconds it was airborne climbing away at a rate normally seen at airshows.
The most spectacular 757 take off I ever saw. It is amazing what these aircraft are capable of.
