No it most certainly is not. You must earn your command
in BA just like everyone else in BA. I am sure you did your duty with valour and honour and for that (as a British citizen) I thank you. But you left the service and took on a new contract with BA. And if you don't understand that then you shouldn't have surrendered your shilling.

They have earned that seat - as you must (if you actually want it) - what they haven't done is deserved your attitude problem. You may find it helpful to address that and concentrate on earning a position in the LHS in the same way that they have.
