Hoping for one of the experts to come straight up with a help link here! I have searched the MS tech database and one or two other help forums.
W98 SE: I have 2 profiles on my machine, mine and 'the boss'. I installed Visual Basic 6 via my profile. It ran ok. Susequently, Excel hangs on open and freezes all but the mouse, requiring reboot. I removed VB6, then reinstalled W98, no change. I have also uninstalled and re-installed MS Office Pro.
The WEIRD thing is that Excel runs just fine inside my wife's 'profile'! This defeats me! I wonder if there is a problem in the tie-up between the Excel
VB functions and VB6? Do I need to do a registry hack to remove all traces of VB6?
Any help appreciated.
