There was a scheduled Tarom service to Bucharest from March 1994 and operated by BAC-111s. But it was very short lived - not more than a season or two IIRC
Prior to that there were long standing Tarom tourist charters to Constanta on weekends, operated by a variety of B707s, IL62s, IL18s and TU-154s. You never really knew what was going to turn up on the day....
