First flight in B788 with TOM flying to/from Jamaica.
Nice aircraft. Extra-legroom seats giving an extra 2 inches worthwhile. Whoever designed the seats did not work for Volvo - my back hurts even before the landing back at Manchester where the ground seemed to surprise the pilot. Worst I and quite a few others had ever experienced.
The in-flight entertainment is a bit week compared to the 'a list' airlines. Has the functions - but actually not much content.
Meal choice was rubbish (actually non-existent), with only the one option each way. The child meals were something of a joke - particularly disappointed in how a holiday charter airline caters for kids.
Still should not complain too much. The flight out in the proceeding week was delayed for 5 hours with a 767 being chucked on the route. The downside being that it was smaller so some people were off loaded and moved to Gatwick...
