My only surprise is that this morning was the first all week when my car, parked within earshot of LCY, didn't require a substantial early morning de-icing process before starting off. Now it may be that the conditions on the approach were reversed, but that seems unlikely, humidity was much less this morning, the freezing fog has gone, it was Cavok, while temperatures have been consistently around zero.
