The oppositions argument is that NAIs employment model is in violation of Article 17 bis, the DOT however didn't even answer that question, they concluded after 3 years that they cannot legally reject an application on grounds of Article 17 bis alone. Which is in reality nothing more than face saving, as the ****storm would have been way bigger were they following the EUs interpretation and had actually concluded that NAI is not in violation of Article 17 bis. And of course its easier so say, "we had no choice" than saying "the argument is flawed and there is no violation".
Of course as Trump is Trump and will do whatever he wants anyway there is a chance he will revoke the decision. Lets wait and see.
