Financially it is much better. The aeros team quoted me 3-6 months between graduation and employment although this could be more or less. They seem to know what they are doing, they've got a good team of instructors, and its got the added benefit of being able to work part time to finance the course, as opposed to taking out a huge loan.

Aeros CANNOT quote you a time between graduation and employment.
No school can guarantee you a time between graduation and employment (not only inside aviation, but everywhere)
Some don't even manage to meet the quoted time between the beginning and the end of the course !
Or, if they really pretend to do so, you should question it.
If they really guaranteed it, they would put it in writing and offer to reimburse your fee in total if you're not hired after 6 months, which they will not (imo).
