Replacing Charts

Hi Raydispatch:

Yes, you can replace paper with electronic however there is a process for it.
Even though it makes dry reading, EASA AMC 20-25 contains the guidance material that is required. PM me if you wish. Its what I do.

The only time i use Jeppesen Manual is the night before flight when revision is required, otherwise its is stored somewhere in the cockpit and used exclusively as a talisman against safa raids.
Is there a legal way in 2017 to replace paper charts with ipads in D- reg(Germany)? I mean we have 4 ipads and all with current jepp subscription.
I tried to read EASA EFB documents but its way too dry and legal without real practical field stuff.
