If a merger were to happen, bmir / Loganair could easily get rid of people they felt were not fitting into the larger corporate culture. The question though is how Eastern's brand, fleet and network would complement the existing bmir / Loganair operation - I personally don't know how to answer this question - anyone want to comment ?
In addition Loganair have traditionally been cautious towards corporate growth and risk. Eastern would be a lot to digest - do they have the appetite for this ?
