Ooops, do I sense some negativity towards poor ol' SEN after all the recent excitement? It's fair enough to point out that the airport cannot offer all its size X10 rival can, but let's not bring the weather on Thursday evening into it. The A320 from AMS couldn't land, the ATR from GRQ did a few minutes later after an age holding. Both would have made their descisions based on their respective requirements which are there to ensure the safety of all on board. SEN was not the only airport that had problems with the weather on Thursday.
What is indefensible is the poor info on the boards. It frustrates us (Did anyone spot TOW1 SOUTHEND on Wed) but what is infinitely more important, it does a great disservice to the airport's customers who need and are entitled to quality real-time information.
