This stuff doesn't happen to Q, because they dot their i's and cross their t's, before they march. There may be the possibility that VA and its affiliates don't. Why?

It has happened to Q and as I pointed out to Ken, Jetstar HK was a classic example of Q hubris getting in the way of a good understanding of local rules. If anyone thinks that J* tried to set up the HK operation without Q input,guidance and finances then they are naive at best or just DADS. Clearly Virgin have made a major misjudgement as to what is acceptable to the Indonesian authorities but lets not pretend that it is exclusive to airlines other than Qantas.
