Why are airline pilots so reluctant to go around ?
Lack of practice ?
Fear of being asked why ?
Commercial pressures ?
Coming from an african bush background every approach was a potential go around, mainly due to errant wildlife and it happened on a regular basis, a few times a month so we were always ready.
