This is a consistent problem at U.K. airports, in particular LGW.
Evidence/proof of this would be better than random generalisations, unless you yourself are disabled and talking from experience?
Or are you just trying to cause a particular stir against LGW for your own personal reasons, whatever they may be...
Mr Gardner in his piece in the link you provide specifically mentions this is a problem for ALL UK airports...
