Luckily both A/C were at the South terminal, took me 30 minutes gate-to-gate at max continuous. A police officer who invited me to a priority lane at security upon re-entry made this possible. Gatwick Connections ladies were nice, but with no bags to collect or check and 40 minutes to departure, I was not "their material" just yet.
