What's the advantage for a GA aircraft to want the longest runway possible? Is there a critical distance involved for a non jet GA?
Sorry, I meant to say 'largest' rather than 'longest'. The long runway is much wider.
Anyway, my post was mainly to emphasise the silliness of criticising this chap's actions before (any) facts were available.
