I had heard the GCAA has approved up to 112 hrs.So, short of pilots,many quitting without jobs to go to due to sheer exhaustion, recruitment team let go, what do you do , flog the remaining minions harder and offer new hires more cash (not that they are coming). So what happens? More leave, hence compounding the issue.
Cancel flights to ease rosters; increase pilot compensation to be in line with work done- get some people to actually start wanting to work here again. Seems obvious but no this will just be an arrogant drive to the bottom until this airline is obliterated. Or another crash, or both.
