I cannot substantiate this, but I was told by a friend who was working on Concorde during its production that the U.S. had tried to obtain the info on the Concorde intake ramps to apply it to the Rockwell B.1, and had been refused.
That is why the B.1 never reached its projected (very high) speed and stayed as is (Mach 1.7-ish I think).
