Yes, pain in the bum, innit? About the only way I know is to use Ccleaner (say) to delete
all autocomplete words. This is probably an even greater pita than the first, most of the time, but a strategy which helped me out in the past when 'autocomplete', carelessly used, meant that I sent a confidential and rather naughty email to the wrong 'Peter'
