Weather Radar RDR4000
I would like to check pilots experience with the RDR4000 Weather Radar, commonly installed on the B737. I experienced several times that some CB's, allthough rare, are displayed (too) late on the screen. Or...the opposite...a CB on your display but if you look outside....clear blue sky! The first one is a dangerous phenomena. You might enter, in IMC, a CB just because the RDR4000 notices the CB too late! Anyone experienced the same? I'm interested in your experience, good or bad!
