I'm not saying that it was the cause but did you ever consider that bad weather in Philadelphia might have been the reason? I only ask because I had read in the news that bad weather had been affecting areas of the east coast of the USA and New England over the last few days.
Aircraft arrived this morning at MAN 25 mins early, so the delay was at MAN for some reason.
