Another nail in the C-27J coffin?
My company recently had a C-27J supply contract terminated by Leonardo without warning, replacing our product with their own in-house assembled alternative which is inferior in performance. When we challenged Leonardo about their decision, they accused us of stealing work from their employees and they needed to keep their workforce productive.
It is clear that Leonardo are struggling to sell this platform, trying desperately to push it towards different roles with little apparent success. I won't shed any tears with this latest Canada SAR award.
