I thought that the point of nexgen 737s/320neos was that they could reach the NE states from EDI or MAN.
A321 NEO LR/ER was the only one I seen advertised as really having the extra range.
Remember as well that these are theoretical ranges, the Atlantic can have nice headwinds for things heading westbound at this time of year.
