That information notice only applies to the UK CAA Licenses - not EASA Licenses, which is probably the type of license you have...

There is a difference (legally) between a UK CAA Part-FCL and an EASA License.

If you have an EASA License then you CANNOT use a temp certificate.

I beg to differ. Exactly the opposite is the case.

An EASA licence is a Part FCL licence, and JAR FCL licences deemed to be EASA also.
UK CAA national licences are not EASA licences.

As stated by whopity, the CAA in issuing the TC are implementing EU commission regulation changes.
