Loadsheets are my balliwack. Thing is I only have Freighter (B742F & B744F) experience. We weigh everything - no guesstimates (well the odd time in some rough places in Africa come to mind ).
In general no such thing as saying " Well we have so many big pallets, so many small pallets, therefore the gross weight = X). I've been weighed (+hand baggage) on an LH A321 HAM-MUC before. Its well known that the weights used for pax are a management dream ie b*ll!!!!!. 80 odd KG for an adult male incl baggage? We use 100KG per crew-member/courier whatever as standard (easy to remember - no difference if male/female/kid). You can only have a guesstimate.
Weigh them all I say!
