It appears the entire rally are detained in Ethiopia.
'Terry Holloway: The word from Nairobi is that the whole rally has been detained in Ethiopia, and that phones and computers confiscated, etc. One of the pilots apparently managed to call his wife in Europe before being cut off. It looks like it's all going pear shaped. Does anyone know any more and what can we do from the UK to assist? Is there any news from or of Maurice?

I received word from the team a short while ago - all fine for now but conditions are poor. Maurice is with them and the team is detained. I have just spoken US embassy South Africa - they are looking into things.
