Yeah it was a few years back as a W patten via GLA before they had a base there. But it just fizzled out and no more was said about it. I think the 738 is too much capacity. A Q400 is similar to the ATP which flew the route for years.

flyBE should have years worth of data which it could use to its advantage. I remember when bmi Regional started the EDI route. It only lasted a year but kept prices competitive. With a Q400 (vs a thirsty E135) it could work and feed the EDI hub. Either that or the keep codeshares to allow east guaranteed connections to EDI/GLA and beyond.
