I guess that the new advertising campaign combined with the recent 'optimistic' press release will tie in nicely with the imminent route announcement (hopefully in the next week). However, with EZY having stated a 10% growth for 2017, this means there will not be any additional based aircraft until 2018.
As for STN it will be interesting to see what happens with the introduction of a sizeable Jet2 base, but with FR already having a strong presence there I feel that EZY would be the ones to suffer. Therefore their could be a future opportunity for SEN to steal more routes. However, EZY won't give up their STN pax without a fight first I would imagine. I also share a similar opinion to others that SEN was nothing more than a negotiating tactic for Jet2 to get a better deal at STN.
