The judging panel has met and come to some decisions on the competition which they believe featured, as many entries inferred, the Adobe CS3 Mk1.

Traffic_Is_Er_Was reminded us what Magnificent Men we all are, with his "this bit makes it go up-tiddly-up-up and go down-tiddly-down-down".

Jim said Pontius Navigator brought back memories of landing on the Gooney-bird strewn Midway runway with his "Well that's the third low and go and we even lost a wheel and they still won't move," but says he still thinks that PN should be re-coursed for suggesting that the Boss's decision to stack might have been premature.

Danny 42C reminded us that, sadly, things don't really change much with his most useful tip from 1941: "Wilbur McKay, still twenty feet high; Sat stalling it in without batting an eye; Or using his throttle to help him on down - The Flight Surgeon says he'll recover, the clown!"

None of the judging panel had ever had the good fortune to land at St Maarten, so c52's "St Maarten's 1915" went right over their heads (!) until they found the up-to-date version of our photo in the Daily Mail, 31 Oct:

However, the judges, from a shortlist of 14 magnificent entries, were unanimal in their decision that the one that tickled them most was Traffic_Is_Er_Was's superb:

Martin?
Yes Baker?
I want to get out.

So, Traffic_Is_Er_Was, you are the winner of the Coffman Starter Trophy, which is in the post.
You have control...
