The Daily Mail is owned by a trust whose chair and controlling shareholder is Viscount Rothermere. It's no longer the most reliable or balanced newspaper around, for example calling three High Court judges enemies of the people was simply ignorant of our law and constitution. EssexMan61 is, sadly, probably right that it is representative of a certain sort of UK person, but it is anathema to certain others.
