I'm currently traveling around the Far east and Australasia and I can asure you no-one sees us as a major addition to their markets or to their strategic position -

to be fair BREXIT didn't change a thing

we lost our defence clout when we pulled out of SE Asia way back and our economic clout here about 1980.........................
