Simply putting gmails in their folders. What has changed?

Gmail calls folders 'labels'.

Once you've made your new folder, go into inbox and type eBay, then return. Now you've got all your eBay emails listed, click the 'select' button at top left, and choose all. Then click the labels button (above second from right) and check the eBay box and return.
