I can remember chatting to someone about the radar a while ago when it was giving so much hassle. I was told that it is a twin channel primary feed and a twin channel SSR feed. Apparently neither primary feed was usable and one of the SSR feeds was a bit dodgy as well! I wonder is it the same problem again, a multi million piece of equipment working at 25% efficiency, bet whoever sold that is getting it in the ear!
