The new BA CEO Alex Cruz is a cheap and nasty disciple ex Vuelling .
But as long as people book airline seats on price alone then this view will prevail.
Where he does have a problem with is the reservations system which he ahs had doctored so it looks like Ryan or Easy with additional sales opportunites after every step -rent a car, hotel, choose seats and so it is rumoured these are behinfd the numerous crashes and slowdowns it has. Some on a large scale that hit the headlines but most on a individual level but far far too frequently just messing up peoples bookings.
However his strategy is to get rid of anyone with experience as they are expensive. A sort of devils management exchange with WW trying hard to turn the hapless Iberia into a 1990s version of BA while Cruz is trying to turn BA in Vuelling.
