If anyone tries to convince me that KLM was a great achievement don't bother. PAX loads of 15 - 40% with the odd 70% load factor during school holidays and weekends don't cut it.
I'm not suggesting for one minute that one small jet twice or thrice a day makes for a successful airport but many of those KLM punters wouldn't have been spending GBP100, or whatever, round trip to AMS, they'd have been spending hundreds or thousands round trip on KLM's worldwide network and the KLM beancounters would be best placed to realise if the route was, or likely to become, viable and not the nay sayers on a forum such as this!
