No need to apologise old chap - said pretty much the same thing to her myself when she rang me in Phoenix to explain why she wouldn't need picking up at the airport. Obviously I said it in that loving husband understanding sort of way.
Nothing against BA either - I happen to think it was rather decent of them to fly her out FOC as it was her mistake - just expressing surprise that so soon after 9/11, when people were
really paranoid about security, she got as far as she did.
