'Gas Problems' could be several things, even a delay in getting a bowser.
The two most likely are weight and balance, where there can be more fuel in one part of the aircraft than another or the bowser figures do not equate to the aircraft's gauges.
In the latter case, engineers may have had to manually check the content of the tanks using magnetic dip sticks
