My memory of detail from 15 years ago is a bit sketchy, but I am sure the Mk 10 seat and the Mk9 in Jaguar were considered legacy systems. Now, notwithstanding all the valid comment, regulations and rights and wrongs I think that was how it was.
I expect many have read David Hill's paper on the accident which I admire for the research; however, I find a couple of the arguments a bit weak to present to such a high powered distribution.
