That's certainly welcome news for many people. Will the training pipeline be able to handle increased input without leaving people treading water in a "hired pool" for so long they go elsewhere ? Is UAL planning any open recruiting events like Delta's recently-announced "pilot career expo" in ATL...or whatever they're calling it ? Rumor mill says this will be a quarterly event.
I think I remember UAL doing something for regional pilots but the details escape me...or perhaps I'm just not remembering correctly.
Any info you can add to flesh out UAL's hiring posture would help a lot of people.
