Can anyone say whether Air Berlin is a low cost carrier?
It is not a LCC in the FR or Wizz sense and not a high cost main carrier either. It is more like an IT airline offering a schedule. They took over LTU land their long range ops and integrated them into their model.They also offer business class on their long range flights with the full package ,incl free limo pick up service , etc..
but their IT intra European flights are very basic low cost service.
