Not sure if the BBC piece is in there but your link might be more appropriate in the "MH17 Update" thread in Rumours and News.
OIC - I daren't go in there. I see there has been some activity on that thread, but the last time I had the temerity to post a link to an article in a thread in that part of PPRUNE (about MS804, not MH17) I got a message saying

You have been been given some time away from this discussion. This is not a ban - feel free to browse other forum threads’

and I wasn't able to access that thread again.
