One of the Singapore 747 captains in the late seventies was I seem to remember 28 and it was not his first command by any means. In fact I think he had worked his way through the whole fleet changing type more or less at yearly intervals as an FO then as a captain. I think Captain Gui was his name. In fact now I think about it was not the sadly missed 411A a Cathay captain at a very early age? But maybe my memory is playing tricks on me.
