Pretty aircraft, though the dihedral on the tail made it wag like a Viscount.

I was about to do an air test on one of Peter's Aviation Herons when I noticed a vertical dark line on the sump, also of #2 engine. I asked for someone to check the switches off and got a couple of chaps to heave on the prop left and right without turning it. The thin line of shiny oil oozed in and out of a split in the crank case that ran from top to bottom between pots 3 and 4.

Although I always enjoyed a bit of excitement, I have a feeling this might have been a tad too much of an adventure.
