The connectivity to Derry airport is appalling. I have driven from Belfast to Derry many a time, it`s like a third world road in places.
Sooner A5 and A6 is built the better. However, a rail stop at Derry airport wouldn`t just attract passengers from Derry, but all the towns east on the rail line all the way to Belfast.
The easier it is to get to Derry airport, the better it can compete with BFS.
For now, I am sure the London Stansted route will reappear from BFS in not too long.
Meanwhile, please headhunt the Knock airport management and bring them to Derry!!!
