What raised my ire was being told that two Canadian Helicopters Pilots being surrounded by a hostile mob of Somali's with no Security or means to defend themselves was none of my or Bristow's business.
The suggestion that if the shoe was on the other foot....I would certainly hope CHC would have a much different view of the matter was not well received either.
But...that is as they say...Piss under the Tail Boom!
The company management's reaction to the Security threat over the Years has not been very....shall we say......effective or appropriate.
The Clients never seemed too good either.
Just like when the 412 went down on the Night Casevac for Texaco....and it was the Clinic that reported the Aircraft overdue by asking when it was supposed to arrive.
Paper Plans might look good....but reality has a way of rendering them useless.
