Very dramatic last night for the UK. I was in West Yorkshire watching this role from the SW and there were some A/C doing wide sweeps to the south before heading for Manchester. I am glad I was not on one. We even watched a funnel circulations forming in the clouds about 1500ft above us so I would guess the wind shear possibilities for A/C would be quite high as well last night, as well as the joys of lighting strikes.
