I don't know about ground schools coming up except that I believe there is one in Mel starting 28th Sept (read that on pprune). My friends and my boyfriend (who is A330 Melb based Captain) seem to think we are almost at the finish line. My sister who works for HR with another airline also believes we are pretty much in (medical obv still needs to be done) although I don't want to get my hopes up too much just in case things don't happen this way. It does cost Qantas money to put people through ASIC process so I don't think they would do this with applicants they are not planning to put through. Fingers crossed for all of us
