All I'm saying is that watching this experiment will be interesting. £500 one way seems steep, but not outrageously expensive for peak summer.
I feel this is unlikely to be a tear away success, I don't know how big the market actually would be. I can't think of any short haul, point-to-point airline / LCC offering even business class out of regional UK airports? As I said, BA have proved their is a premium leisure market out of LCY and airports do well selling lounge access. But that's a long way from this.
It is a very interesting experiment in a market that dictates the "stack em high, sell em cheap (unless you can sell 'em expensive)" is the only route to success.
It will be fascinating to watch.
